West Lodge & Maitland Room (20 - 50 Guests)
Available 7 nights per week for Private Dinners for Downing Members.
Hall (50 - 160 Guests)
Available for Private Formal Hall on Monday, Tuesday and Thursday.
Available for Private Dinner on Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday.
Charge to your College Bill
No hassle collecting money - your guests can choose to have the dinner charged to their College Bill.

- Sit down at 7.30- Depart by 9.15pm.
- Corkage charge £1 per bottle. Bring own or buy.
- No more than 1 bottle of wine per head.
- Choice of menu from Private Formal Hall menu
- Fellows may be dining in Hall.
- If numbers below 50, may be more than 1 group dining
- List of names who’s being billed or cash or cheque to the Conference office prior to the event.
- Must be in the Hall
- Cost includes 1 menu per 5 people, and no name cards.
- Table plan is specified by the Catering Department
- No table cloths
- Paper napkins only

- Dinners to start by 7.30pm and be finished by 10.00pm. After this time there will be a charge of £2.00 per person. (Must depart by 11pm.)
- Costs include Menus, table linen, linen napkins, candelabra, choice of table plan and name cards if required.
- Dinners get private use of the venue, except Fellows who may dine at High Table.
- Dinner is in the Hall or West Lodge/Maitland Room.
- Dinners must be in term time
- Drinks reception venue, if required is determined by the Conference office
- Must be booked by a Downing Member for a Student society dinner or Members Private dinner. The member who books it must be present throughout the event.
